In my original review, below, I gave the game 1 star because it would not work on my desktop which is built for games. Just when I was returning it I tried it on my laptop and it played. So now I can rate the “game play”, just do be sure you buy it from someone who allows software returns.

I now give the game 4 stars for a city building game and would give it four and a half if that was an option. It has some unique features like a stock market where you can open new territories by buying out another company’s stock. Research that feature before you turn it on and be sure no one buys all your stock! The stock market and be left off if you don’t want to mess with it. The game also has some side battles that are done as naval battles. A bit odd for a space game but yet they are fun and very well done. You can fight the battle at three levels of your choosing with the rewards reduced at the easier levels.

The city building is the best part of the game and is well worth the price of the game. It’s well thought out and has some great graphics.

    Original Review
I’ve spent two days repeatedly loading the game and troubleshooting it but continue to get the same error code that files cannot be found. The files are right were they should be, my PC is a Windows 10, high-end gamer setup, so capacity& computer performance are not the issue. Also, I’m a big gamer so I’m pretty experienced at getting games loaded and configured. The game is 11.7 GB and there is an 8 GB update that of course you have to download again every time you try re-installing the game.

When you call Ubisoft customer support it quickly tells you that they only support monthly fee based games, everything else you have to use their web based customer support. Big surprise, the only thing their web support gives you is “Nothing found on that issue” and that’s the end of their support. It’s very much a “pay us your money for something that doesn’t work and then go away”. I certainly will NOT be buying another Ubisoft game.

I’m returning the game today. Amazon support for completing the return was great, simply click your “last order, click return and write a short note as to the issue, then print a label & drop in the mailbox.

Couldnot get it to work. Have to go through online app and could not play offline even tbouvh it says you can. A web search shows this is a common complaint of tbis game. It is a waste of money.

1/3 the price of what an online code was costing.
